How to program 2014 Toyota Yaris 8A chip when all smart key lost?-Reset immo and smart box

2014 Toyota Yaris with smart system use 8A chip, those non-smart is G chip. This post will share the steps to program 2014 Toyota Yaris all smart key lost. The steps is same as 2013 Toyota Mark X, reset immo and smart box, add the key with key programmer, do the synchronization process.

Step 1: Reset immo data. Disassemble the steering lock from the car, then open the lock No. 45020-0D-4 and find the EEPROM chip 93C46, read the chip with key programmer such as Yanhua key master, vvdi prog and CG100 etc. Save the data and backup. Modify the data like this: retain the first and second bytes with blue underline of row 020, usually shown 5555, The bytes with red underline replace with 0, Other bytes all replace with F, save the file and write the file back to EEPROM chip. Assemble the steering lock to car.

Step 2: Reset smart box. Disassemble smart box NO. 625625-000 which placed on the right side behind the passenger’s glove box, open and find the EEPROM chip 93C86, read the chip with key programmer, save file and backup, start modify the data like this: Retain the red area, replace the bytes with blue underline with 0, remaining bytes all replace with F.

Step 3: Learn the key. With steering lock and smart box assemble back to car, go to car and push start button, the dash will be lighted meaning everything going well. Connect key programmer with car OBD, select Toyota smart system, following the steps, make the smart key logo held close to start button, comes with “beep beep”, that is the indication of adding key successful.

Step 4: Do the synchronization process. Connect 4th pin and 13th of OBD with cable or paper clip, push start button, many lights in dash panel will start flashing, wait for 45 minutes, then push stop button and remove the cable. Finish. Start the car.
